I love great views of nature. Natural panoramas. I also love capturing them with my camera, however I do not like to cheat and zoom out on a wide angle lens, later cropping it to panorama specifications. I also do not like the bits of distortion left behind by using a zoomed out wide angle.
For that reason I will zoom in my wide angle lens and take multiple shots of the scene, later stitching them together with Photoshop. Here is an example of three images I took to create one.
After combining them, cropping and other various adjustments I finished my panorama. Hardly any of the third photo made it into the finished picture because after I cropped it, so little of the tree remained it was a bit visually silly to have a couple branches hanging in mid air. So I cropped out the remaining bits of the tree for the following finished image.
